Wow! Talk about a busy weekend. We moved so fast it was like I blinked and the weekend was over. It is already 1:45am, Monday morning and I didn’t get to do any of the “blog” work that I wanted to do.
There are some videos that I want to post and some stories that I have been collecting to blog about, but I am realizing that I am really going to have to work out my time schedule when it comes to this, or else I won’t be blogging at all…and I really want to blog.
One thing I did do this weekend was sit down and write out all of my responsibilities and the goals. I will now have to take the time to place them on the calendar.
My kids had a very busy weekend. It may seem weird, but I can’t really remember what we did. It all seems like a blur. All I know is that we were busy. I mean there were times where we were able to just sit down and do nothing, but when I look back on it, for some reason, it feels like I didn’t have any time to sit down. Honestly, I know why I feel that way. It’s because I’ve been chasing after my 4 year old and my 2 year old all weekend. And by chasing, I mean two different types of chasing. The first type is where the pointer finger is out and my eyebrows are squinted up, and my neighbors can hear me out side saying “don’t do that or that’s not nice.” The other chasing is where my neighbors hear and see me chasing after my kids playing tag. Either way it goes, my neighbors hear me, and they want to come and hang out. At least that’s the way I see it. Why do I see it that way, you ask? Well, my neighbors on both sides have small children like I do. And we all know how it is when someone is around with small children playing outside. We are thinking “HUH…it is possible that they could all play really nice together.” But what is it that stops us from going outside to let our kids play with the neighbors kids and talking to the nice mommy? I think its the fear of not wanting to bug the neighbor. I think we are just gonna have to get over it, a little…well, a lot. How are we ever going to make friends if we don’t get out there and talk?
Speaking of getting out there and meeting other people. In the next coming week, April thru April 8th, 5 Minutes For Mom will be hosting the annual Blog Party. This is my first blog party and I am very excited. I believe I joined the blog community just in time for all of the festivities. How awesome is that?! I get to stay in my home with my kids and meet other moms around the world who are probably doing and saying the same thing that I am doing and saying to my kids. I am really excited. The only thing is, I have to go to the website and find out how it all works.
Ok, back to the posts that I was supposed to be making this past week. I have a question answer session that I will be posting. There is a very heartfelt story about a 9 yr search going on in my area that I plan on writing about. There are a couple of videos that I want to write about and I want to tell you all about my other blogs. You know, I was supposed to be using this page to talk about the kids and the Me page to discuss what has been going on with me, but I think it will be ok. I’ll just categorize it.
You know, I am wondering how often I should plan on blogging. I was planning on doing it everyday, but that hasn’t worked out very well. So, I am thinking about once or twice a week. I wonder what works for other mom bloggers…What shall I do?
Leave you comments below, please. Say something to me, so that I know you are reading. Oh and be nice, I am new to blogging. Follow me on Twitter or friend me on Facebook and if you are a blogging Mommy, I hope to see you soon at the Blog Party…
Until next time…God Bless You!
