My Darling Daughter

February 22, 2011 By Mrs. Mom 12 Comments

It never fails to amaze me how much my baby girl does.  She watches every single thing that I do. She is only two, but she is so observant.  I have seen her watching me as I get dressed and while I’m doing my hair, she is rubbing her fingers through hers.  Now this morning, she got up and grabbed one of my purses. She asked me for a wallet and then began to prepare herself as if she was going somewhere.  This time I was the one observing as she got dressed.  She put her wallet into the purse, put her jacket on, and asked me for her phone.  The last time I checked she did not have a phone.  I think she is so cute.  Well, to add to the cuteness, she comes over to me and says “Check the email. Do you hear me? I go to work. My cuppie”  She then gives me a kiss and tells me bye.  Now for her big finish.  She puts her purse on her shoulder gets her stroller and begins to leave the room while waving good bye.  Oh, and did I mention that she also kissed her brother goodbye?

O how my darling daughter makes me smile!

So, while I was typing this wonderful account of my baby girl, she came over to me angry and pinched me…she kicked and screamed and…there went my smile.  I think I’ll put it in my pocket for later…being a mom is interesting?!

Funny you should mention that because Alyssa had one of her friend’s on her facebook saying the same thing. In the end, after posting lots of her research, it sounds like they concluded to use with caution. Thanks for the input!
